The Acts of the Apostles – My Give On Things

This study was conducted between May and November of 2016. We just walked through the book, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, all in an effort to better understand the context of the church in the first century, and better know where our roots as Christians are situated in history.

Acts 27.1-28.31

Study conducted on November 9, 2016. We started with a walk-through review of the entire book, then covered Paul’s voyage to Rome, Shipwreck on Malta and interaction with the Jews in Rome. This was the last lesson in Acts!

Study conducted on October 27, 2016. We covered Paul’s address to the rioting Jews in Jerusalem, his defense before the council, and his defense before Felix in Caesarea.

Acts 20:13-21:40a

Study conducted on October 19, 2016. We covered Paul’s farewell address to the Ephesian Elders, and his homecoming to Jerusalem from his third missionary journey. We left off just before his address to the mob who had him arrested. (at about 7:42 the garage door in Bethany’s apartment ran and it was very loud so we went on a little tangent. just fyi.)

Acts 10:24-11:26

Study conducted on August 17, 2016. We covered Peter’s vision, the preaching of the gospel to the Gentiles for the first time, and the return of Paul to Antioch from Tarsus. (The recap at the beginning was a bit slow this week. I recommend skipping to 6:42 in the recording to get to the new material.)

Study conducted on August 10, 2016. We expected to cover through 10:48, but did not. Instead we stopped shortly after Peter received the vision of the sheet in chapter 10.

Acts 3:1-4:22
