After that, we continued our study of the Sunday Worship Service, this week getting into the particular prescribed activities and how those activities get practiced in the church through various denominations. Part 1:Defining the Question and Understanding the History
This week we sang and discussed the hymn, “To God Be the Glory” by Fanny J. Crosby. We then began a new study to try and answer the question “What is the nature, purpose, and correct format
of the regular local church gathering?” In this introductory lesson we deal largely with definitional questions and history that developed into the modern worship service. Lesson given on Sept 15, 2019.
