Apologetics 7: Concerning Jesus

This week we sang and discussed the hymn “At Calvary” by William Newell. After that, we finished up our series on apologetics by talking about the final line of defense for the unbeliever: Jesus. The point when all other defenses have been torn down, the only recourse left is to refuse to bow the knee, and so we tried to show that any action other than bowing the knee to Jesus is inherently illogical. Lesson given on December 2, 2018.

We talked about some basic worldview topics and we discussed why we do apologetics, then finished up with a discussion of presuppositionalism vs evidentialism. We did sing the song “Agnus Dei” by Michael W. Smith, but due to copyright issues, we had to cut the singing and begin with the discussion section. Lesson given Sept 30, 2018.
